Hello
divamoms & divas,
I
hope that you are excited I’m returning to blogging. I know I am. I want to
thank my blogging sister Inez at Style Chic 360 and Rocquelle over at Consider Me Lovely for
supporting me and allowing me to bounce ideas off them as I prepare to make a
comeback and revise my blog site.
If
you haven’t read from my Tweets or Instagram, my Grandmother passed away on the 7th! It has really been difficult because she was the BEST! Not perfect but my Granny and I truly
respected and adored her. She was 94 and battled Alzheimer disease. I wrote
about it here and here . Please keep me in your prayers.
I
did something that I know made her proud as she looks down from heaven on me. I
got dressed and went to the grocery store. Yeah, I’ve been looking kinda rough
most days. I’m sure everyone understood my blah mood but my mom and Aunt
reminded me that my Granny would encourage you to dust yourself off, put on your
best garments (and y’all know back then it was the Sunday’s best) and go give
the people who wondered if you were faring well a great people watching show.
There
are so many lessons she taught me during my visits with her. She’s missed tremendously.
What is one memorable lesson your Grandmother taught you?

Note to you: Please consider
making a donation to the Alzheimer Association. I pray someday we find a cure. My
new challenge is to help other families as they care for a loved one dealing
with this dreadful disease.
P. S. Thank you for sticking with me!!
